Celebrating 30 Years! (1989 – 2019)

Thirty years ago in May 1989, I returned to my hometown of Hartville to start my own chiropractic practice. My first office was located at 140 Grand Trunk in a lower-level space facing the parking lot of Schoner Chevrolet. In the beginning, I just hoped patients would show up. Thankfully they did. The people of this community were (and are) very supportive.

Since 1989, the practice has grown and expanded to a full-service Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) facility. For the first 18 years, it was just myself as a solo-chiropractic physician. We moved the office to Hartville Centre plaza in 1998. We added our first licensed massage therapist in 2007, and then two more in 2010. Most recently, in June 2017, we added Dr. Lauren as a second treating chiropractic physician.

The healthcare team now consists of two chiropractic physicians and three licensed massage therapists. In addition to Activator Methods chiropractic care, we now offer massage therapy, laser therapy, nutritional consultation, and exercise program instruction. Dr. Lauren recently added a new “Well Mama” program to aid women in having a more comfortable pregnancy, an easier delivery, and a faster recovery.
