COVID-19 Safety Precautions

As the COVID-19 pandemic has continued to be an evolving and uncertain public health issue affecting all of us, we want to reassure you that nothing is more important than the health, safety, and well-being of our patients and staff at Hartville Health & Wellness Centre. As a result, if you are experiencing flu-like symptoms or have a fever, we kindly request that you reschedule your appointment.

Outpatient Screening for COVID-19

  1. Have you been in close contact* with any person diagnosed (laboratory-confirmed) with COVID-19?

  2. Do you have or have you recently had a cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, any other symptoms of respiratory illness, fever/chills, sore throat, headache, or new loss of taste and/or smell?

  3. If yes to any of the above symptoms, is there a medical condition/diagnosis to explain the symptoms?

*Close contact is defined as being indoors and within 6 -feet of a laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 case for more than 15 -minutes. This can occur while caring for, living with, visiting, or sharing a healthcare waiting room with a COVID-19 case or having direct contact with infections secretions of a COVID-19 case (e.g. be coughed on.)

What We Are Doing

  • We conduct daily employee screenings to determine if each staff member is fit to work.

  • Our staff is required to wear face masks that cover both the mouth and nose.

  • We practice physical distancing throughout our office at all times possible.

  • We provide a hand-sanitizing wipe station for our patients and clients.

  • We clean and sanitize all high touch areas between each patient.

What We Need From Our Patients

  • Please wear a mask or face covering that covers both your nose and mouth.

  • If you have any signs of acute respiratory illness, please reschedule your appointment.

  • Practice physical distancing of 6 -feet whenever possible, including when you are standing or seated.

  • Wash your hands with soap and water for 20 -seconds or more, or use the hand-sanitizing wipes provided.
