But seriously…I get a lot of, “Dr. Lauren, I could never do what you do. Exercising is too hard. The moves are too intense.” The reality is I couldn’t do it either when I first started! Some movements I still can’t do. Everyone has to start somewhere.

The point is, when we are born our bodies innately learn how to move and we CAN do these movements and we SHOULD be able to do them. Blakely, you can see lifts her legs effortlessly. It’s as we grow and don’t move our bodies enough that we can’t function properly. You don’t use it, you lose it. Little to no movement can lead to pain, physical, and even mental health problems because our bodies are designed to move. There are always modifications available. Where there is a will there is always a way!!
